CAUSES

      Contaminants are the causes of pollution in water include a wide spectrum of chemicals, pathogens, and physical or sensory changes such as elevated temperature and discoloration. EAC said that “Some of these are natural from erosion or storms but most are from humans getting rid of rubbish” (EAC website, 2013).  The industrial factories discharge waste water into the river so the water becomes polluted.
